Cupertino Cafe

Too distracted to study at home? Is Panera too packed? Come to the Cupertino Cafe on Sunday, December 5 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. The Youth Activity Board together with Cupertino Parks and Recreation will be opening Cupertino Community Hall for teens in 9th through 12th grade to prepare for their end of semester exams. We will have brain food for our participants (limited quantity) and mobile recreation activities if you want to take a break from studying. Tutoring by FLEX College Prep will be available on-site in 15 minute slots. Registration and masks are required. Snacks and coffee are graciously donated by Local Kitchens. Winter Concert

Hey Lynbrook! Lynbrook's very own music department will be presenting their Winter Concerts at Monta Vista High School auditorium! Wednesday, December 8 at 7:30 are the Choirs and Orchestras. Thursday December 9 at 7:30 are the bands. Tickets are $5 and are available in the quad during brunch and lunch. Be sure to come out for a night of celebration and festivity! Once again, the concerts are at 7:30pm on Wednesday, December 8th and Thursday December 9 at Monta Vista high school auditorium. Homework Center

Student tutors are available at Homework Center to help students with homework and assignments. Drop in Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3:30-5:00pm during Homework Center in the Library. Look for the "Student Tutor" signs on the tables.

Yearbook Schoolwide Survey

Hello there, Vikings! Have you ever wondered what percent of the Lynbrook student body shares the same favorite beaches, card games, clothing choices, and many more? Winter Formal

- Hey Vikings, if you're looking to attend Winter Formal, today is likely the LAST DAY of ticket sales! To ensure fairness for the last remaining 20 tickets, we'll be using a raffle system. Come to the quad today with your printed and signed permission form, proof of vaccination if necessary, and ID to enter. Students will be randomly selected and results will be announced next week. Partners can choose to enter as either one unit or two separate units for the raffle. Also, don't forget to participate in the Askings contest for a chance to receive FREE tickets (you will be refunded if you've already purchased!) Winter Break Book Match

The LHS Librarians and the Students For Literacy Club encourage you to spend your Winter Break curled up with a good book. Fill in the Book Match Form featured on the Library's web page and we will either find a book for you that will be delivered to your English classroom Friday 12/10 before finals week OR we'll send out recommendations according to your preferences by Friday 12/10, including instructions on where to find the book. Note: the last day to fill out the form to get a book from the library is Monday 12/6!

2024 Apparel Pickup

Hey 2024! If you preordered class apparel, today is your last day to pick it up! Bring cash or a check and your student ID to our table at lunch in front of the ASB den today to pick up your 2024 class apparel. Additionally, we'll be selling lanyards and stickers even if you didn't pre-order anything.

Class of 2022 Grad Night Super Duper Dine Out

- Lynbrook HS Grad Night Boosters has another dine out!! Please support the Class of 2022 Grad Night Party!! They have great meat and veggie burgers!Date: Dec 7, 2021; Time: 11am - 9pm; Customer just need to mention that they supporting the Lynbrook fundraiser.

Improv Night

Improv Night is a show where two teams battle it out in an improvised comedy competition where YOU, the audience, get to give players suggestions that decide how the show will play out! You can come watch the show TONIGHT at 7pm in Studio 74! Tickets will be sold at lunch and at the door!

New Precision Medicine Club (GIDAS) in the Bay

- Hey students! Are you interested in joining a new medicine club in the Bay Area? A club that offers you an opportunity to explore genetics, precision medicine, and disease research in focus? One that allows you to participate in a nationwide competition in March? If so, consider joining Santa Clara County GIDAS (Genes in Diseases and Symptoms)! Goodwill Truck Donation Fundraiser For Valkyries Dance

Lynbrook Valkyries Dance Team has organized a Goodwill Truck to be parked at Lynbrook on Saturday, December 11th from 9AM - 3PM. A portion of the proceeds goes back to the Lynbrook Valkyries Team based on how many items are donated. Start setting aside items you don't want. Small household appliances and electronics are acceptable, but no furniture and items weighing over 50 lbs please.
