Santa Clara Youth Commission

Learn about the future of sustainable technology at the virtual Sustainable Tech for Environmental Minds (STEM) Conference on Saturday, April 17th from 1-4 p.m.! The City of Santa Clara Youth Commission is hosting the event to bring youth together in the movement to protect our futures and the future of the environment through technological innovation. There will be workshops on environmental research, environmental engineering, clean energy, and more!

Celebrate National Poetry Month

Enter the LHS Library's 2021 Haiku Contest!: It's that time of year again: Time to ponder life, the universe and everything and express it in the form of a haiku. This year our wonderful Students for Literacy Club will be awarding new poetry book prizes to the top 3 haiku-ers. The contest runs April 1-30. Enter as many times as you'd like.

STTAR Tutor Program

Peer tutors are available to tutor students on a weekly basis. Request a STTAR tutor if you want to improve your grade in a particular subject. A STTAR Tutor Request form can be found under "NEED A TUTOR?" on the STTAR webpage:

Lynbrook Science Fiction Club

What do you think of when you hear science fiction? Spaceships? Extraterrestrials? Intergalactic civilizations? What about a forecast of the future, or an inspiration to those who seek to advance humanity? Science Fiction is a rich genre with a huge following worldwide. Philosophy, action and adventure, politics, technology -- you name it, scifi's got it! In our meetings, we'll be talking about these aspects and different sci-fi franchises: Star Wars, Star Trek, Dune, Ender's Game, & Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy to name just a few!We're building a science fiction community at Lynbrook to discuss and learn about the different aspects of this genre. Lynbrook Entrepreneurship Week

Hey Vikings! Are you interested in pursuing a career in entrepreneurship, finance, or just anything business related? If so, we've got just the thing for you! Lynbrook Economics, DECA, and FBLA have teamed up to bring you a speaker event series headlined by distinguished faculty at our nation's top universities and other experienced members of the business world this April. Order your Lynbrook Commemorative Brick

Seniors - Leave your legacy at Lynbrook! Here is your chance to have your name, or the name of a friend or family member etched into the groundbreaking improvements at Lynbrook High School's Sports Facilities. The facilities will have three entrance walkways that will be filled with personalized bricks. Personalized bricks make great permanent gifts. Bricks are a great way to recognize families, students, alumni and to show your Viking Spirit.

Lynbrook Boys Volleyball Tryouts Interest Form

Boy's Volleyball will be having tryouts for the 2021 school year beginning April 5th, and pre-tryout conditioning will begin the week of March 1st. Pre-tryout conditioning is a great way to student athletes to prepare physically and mentally for the season as well as get to know teammates and coaches. If interested, fill out the interest form to be added to the email list.
